Google Ads Management

Stop paying Google to learn what doesn't work

AppLabx runs your Google Ads the way a performance team should — rebuilt account structure, clean conversion tracking, and weekly optimisation against the one number that matters: profitable cost per acquisition.

  • You own the account. We work inside your Google Ads account, never a hidden agency one.
  • Search, PMax, Shopping, YouTube, Demand Gen — one team, every campaign type.
  • Paid and organic planned together — so campaigns are judged on incremental conversions, not clicks you'd have earned anyway.

What is AppLabx Google Ads management?

AppLabx Google Ads management is a done-for-you paid search service in which AppLabx builds, runs and optimises a company's Google Ads campaigns — Search, Performance Max, Shopping, YouTube and Demand Gen — inside the client's own Google Ads account. The engagement covers account audit, campaign architecture, keyword and audience strategy, ad creative, conversion tracking, bid and budget management, weekly optimisation and monthly reporting against cost per acquisition and return on ad spend.

Pricing is a management fee of 50% of monthly ad spend, invoiced separately from media, which the client pays to Google directly. Larger engagements may be quoted a custom or blended rate. Engagements run month to month after an initial 90-day period, and the client keeps ownership of the account, its conversion history and its campaign assets at all times. AppLabx also runs SEO and Generative Engine Optimization, so paid and organic search are run as one coordinated strategy — converting search terms from Ads feed the organic and AI-answer programme, and paid campaigns are scaled on incremental conversions rather than on clicks the account would have earned anyway.

The usual story

Most accounts aren't underfunded. They're under-managed.

Four patterns show up in almost every audit we run. If two or more sound familiar, the problem isn't your budget.

Conversions you can't trust

Duplicate tags, form loads counted as leads, and offline sales never fed back. The bidding algorithm optimises towards the wrong outcome and does it very efficiently.

Broad match with no guardrails

Search terms drifting into research, jobs and competitor-brand noise. Nobody has mined the report or built the negative lists in months.

Performance Max as a black box

One campaign swallowing the budget, brand traffic quietly claiming the credit, and no asset-group discipline or brand exclusions in place.

Reports that describe, not decide

Clicks and impressions up, revenue flat. A monthly deck full of platform screenshots and no answer to "what are we changing next month?"

What we manage

Every Google campaign type, run by people who've run them before

We don't sell channels separately. We work out where your next profitable customer actually is on Google, then build only the campaigns that reach them — with the tracking and measurement to prove it.

Google Search

Intent-mapped keyword architecture, tight ad groups, RSA testing against real headline data, and search-term analysis with negative lists maintained weekly — not at onboarding and never again.

Performance Max

Asset groups split by margin and audience, brand traffic excluded so incrementality is real, and search-theme steering instead of hoping the machine guesses right.

Shopping & Merchant Center

Feed diagnostics and Merchant Center hygiene first, campaign structure second. Most Shopping problems are feed problems wearing a bidding costume.

How it works

Ninety days from audit to a scalable account

No mystery, no ninety-day silence. Here's the sequence every AppLabx Google Ads engagement follows.

Audit

We read the account, the tracking and the competitor auction landscape, then write up exactly where money is leaking and what we'd fix first.

Days 1–5

Build

Conversion tracking repaired and value-mapped. Campaign architecture rebuilt around profit drivers. New ad copy, extensions and creative shipped.

Weeks 1–3

Optimise

Weekly search term mining, negatives, bid and budget shifts, creative tests, and landing page recommendations we hand you as specific changes.

Ongoing, weekly

Scale

Monthly review against target CPA and ROAS, then budget moved into what clears the bar — and pulled out of what doesn't, without a debate.

Why AppLabx

Paid, organic and AI search strategy — one conversation, one team

Most brands run Google Ads at one agency and SEO at another. The result is duplicate reporting, competing dashboards and nobody owning the question of where a customer should find you. We plan paid, organic and AI search together — and judge paid spend on what it actually adds.

Incrementality, not duplication

We don't automatically switch ads off on terms you already rank for — organic positions move weekly, and paid protects coverage while SEO catches up. Converting search terms from Ads become content and landing-page briefs for organic, and paid campaigns are scaled on incremental conversions: the customers the ads genuinely added.

Built for AI search too

We run Generative Engine Optimization alongside paid, so you show up in ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews — where a growing share of research now starts.

No black-box account

Your account, your Merchant Center, your GA4, your data. Manager access only. If you leave, nothing gets held hostage.

FAQ

Questions we get before every engagement

How much does AppLabx charge to manage Google Ads?

Our management fee is 50% of your monthly ad spend. You pay Google directly for media from your own account, and we invoice the management fee separately. Larger engagements may be quoted a custom or blended rate. There is no setup fee and no long lock-in — a 90-day initial term, then month to month.

Who owns the Google Ads account?

You do, always. We work inside your account through manager (MCC) access. If the engagement ends, the account, its conversion history, its audience lists and its campaigns stay with you — nothing is rebuilt from scratch by your next team.

How long before Google Ads produces results?

Search campaigns usually produce their first conversions within days of launch, but a reliable read on cost per acquisition takes roughly 30 to 60 days of data. Performance Max and Demand Gen need a longer learning period — typically four to six weeks — before performance settles enough to judge.

What's the minimum ad spend to work with you?

We work best with brands spending from around US$3,000 per month upwards. Below that there's rarely enough conversion volume for smart bidding to learn, and you're usually better served by a one-off strategy sprint and running it in-house. We'll tell you honestly if that's your situation.

Do you also handle SEO and AI search visibility?

Yes — it's why paid and organic live in one team here. We run SEO and Generative Engine Optimization alongside paid media, so converting search terms from Ads inform your content and landing-page strategy. And we don't automatically switch ads off on terms you rank for — we coordinate coverage and scale paid on incremental conversions, the ones the ads genuinely add.

Will you rebuild my existing account or start fresh?

Whichever the audit says. If your conversion history is clean and the structure is salvageable, we restructure in place to keep the learning. If tracking is broken or the account is built on the wrong foundations, a rebuild in the same account is faster than fighting bad data.

What does reporting look like?

A live dashboard you can open any time, plus a monthly written review that answers three questions: what happened, why, and what we're changing next month. No screenshot decks.

What's included in the free Google Ads audit?

Account structure review, conversion tracking accuracy check (GA4, Google Tag Manager, enhanced conversions), wasted spend found in your search terms, ad relevance and Quality Score analysis, competitor auction insights, and a prioritised list of fixes. Delivered as a written document within two business days, with no obligation to continue.
